Hey! To get the Github Student Developper Pack for free without being a student, you will need to:
- An .edu email (if you have one, it will be easier and you will be more likely to have it faster)
If you want to get one, which I highly recommend, you can get one for $10 on Fiverr (very simple) :
Register with this link on Fiverr : And access this link after your registration:
- A VPN to connect to the United States (take a free one like Hola! VPN or ProtonVPN)
- An email address (which is not your personal but you must have access to it)
Tutoriel :
- Connect to your VPN by taking a connection in the United States
- Go to and create a GitHub account with the email address you chose earlier
- Fill out the form by choosing your e-mail or your .edu e-mail (the .edu will give you a better chance of getting the pack and having a faster response)
- Give the information about your school (normally if you have an email .edu you should know the information about your school)
- To pass the verification with the student card, go to
- Fill out the form to personalize your student card
Warning: Do not put your photo on the site, it will not work.

- Go to and choose a photo that will go on your student card. This photo must be that of a young person (since you are a student) Take a screenshot of it.
- Make a photo-montage by putting your photo on the map at the right location
- Send your student card to GitHub on the form
- Validate the form and wait until you receive an email that will tell you if your request has been accepted or not.
