1. The Problem and Its Consequences:
I'm sure we've all seen this before: the brand's Messenger campaign of all-message acc clones of the Via farm system - constant message spam. There are a number of problems with this clone file:
Often these acc clones get mixed up in the messenger of customers with real needs that confuse the sale indiscriminately.
And then there's the situation where real customers ask for prices, and they send a question, and then they're going to refer to and see all of their other responses, and the reason for this is that these real customers are buying and referring in a way that's very similar to clones.
→ This will have a negative psychological impact that will make the entire sales team lose morale, and worse, it will put all the blame on marketing (although marketing is also at fault for not filtering the junk here). The bottom line is that sales efficiency is getting worse, business performance is getting worse.
2. Causes of the above phenomenon:
The reason is very simple, and comes from a damning saying: the height of the target is not the target.
RIGHT
For brands that have products that dominate the market, have high recognition rates, are trusted by people and are essential products in life.
For brands that build top-notch content, that create trends and lead the conversation on social media.
Often, to do that, the marketing manager of the brand has to do a lot of work, there will be some random feasibility and of course, they calculate, measure and capture trends, execute a series of digital work, including steps like seeding, creating trends. We're finally seeing the results of that campaign. Aim at everyone, no targets needed.
The term is commonly referred to as Buzz Marketing or Viral Marketing. It is usually aimed at spreading the message as widely as possible.
WRONG
For most people. The average brand is struggling to do well in media, content, product description, sales. It ultimately leads to unfilled claims, spam, internal conflicts, lost cash flow, and a whole host of problems that arise out of our control.
The problem that arises out of control comes from our lack of control. We're giving the power to the Facebook algorithm, the quality of the ads, we don't know who our customers are, we're lazy. If set ads are simply dropping targets, then anyone can do it, no ad maker needed.
Of course, running ads, in addition to targeting, is a whole lot of other things, not to mention, just the consequences of the "no target is the peak" mindset blindly and a whole bunch of problems that it brings.
