Today, I'm going to show you a method which I've used in the past to make my first $3k/m (revenue, not np). And when I've tried it some while ago, I've noticed that it's still working well so it's not going to die in the near future. Since sharing this method with you is not going to kill it too (because you'll see that there's not any point for saturation) so I've decided to share it here. Hope it'll be useful and help you make your first dollars in IM.

Well, if you know me, (I do not expect you to know me of course! :anyway
, I like to make everything as clear as and as simple as and as short as possible. Because I believe that it makes sense not only for pro but also for newbie so that's what I'm going to do with this (and probably the next) methods. I introduce you here in a simple way then it's your turn to ask your questions and give it a shot to get result.
Step 1:
Go to and click on "software category". (Capterra is a technology review platform that connects sellers of B2B software to potential buyers.) There are tons of review and services listed in the website.
Step 2:
Click on any category you like. I choose "Nutritionist Software" for example. Now you can see a wide range of all products you can potentially promote as an affiliate.
Step 3:
Now, pick a products and google it. I choose "healthie". When you google it, make sure that there's not any ads currently running for that product. For example if you search for "healthie" on Google, you notice that there's not any ads for that.
Step 4:
After you make sure that there's not any competition for the product, search to find out if the product has an affiliate program. "product name + affiliate program". It would be "healthie affiliate program". Luckily, we have a referral program for that:
Step 5:
Now simply join the affiliate program and create an ads and bid on "brand name" of the product in Google. In our example, we only bid on "get healthie", "healthie", etc.
Now if someone search for the product name, your ads will pop up in the first result of Google, you'll start getting clicks and sales for that.
People who search for product's name, are hot and already engaged with the service so the chance of taking action and buying service/product by them is really high. By doing this, you're the only person who is bidding on a potential keyword which means there's "zero" competition!
Note 1: Make sure that the est. traffic for the product's name is enough. I personally go for product's name with 500+/month traffic but you can start with 200+ too. (You can use any keyword's research tool like or .
Note 2: Make sure that there's not any restriction for brand bidding from product/service owner when you join their affiliate program. You can check this by reading their terms of conditions. (My experience says that 70%-80% of products on capterra are ok with brand bidding.
That's it. This is the method that I'm using every now and then and it never disappointed me. I'm sure that you can make your first sale using this method too if you stop 'thinking' and start 'acting'!
